HOT Project Manager

Position Overview
Environmental Works is seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Environmental Project Manager to lead our Heating Oil Tank Department.
A strong background in construction, excavation, underground utilities, or environmental project management is highly desirable. Experience with Heating Oil Tanks (HOT), Underground Storage Tanks (UST), environmental remediation, soil sampling, or ODEQ regulations is a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial scheduling through final completion and regulatory closure.
- Oversee heating oil tank locating, decommissioning, removals, soil sampling, and environmental remediation projects.
- Coordinate field technicians, equipment operators, subcontractors, and environmental scientists to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain project schedules while balancing changing priorities and time-sensitive real estate deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, real estate professionals, contractors, and commercial clients.
- Ensure all work complies with ODEQ regulations, permitting requirements, company standards, and safety protocols.
- Review project documentation for accuracy, including permits, field reports, soil sampling results, invoices, and regulatory paperwork.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Quickly identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, unforeseen site conditions, and customer concerns.
- Work closely with leadership to continually improve departmental efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required
- Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience in construction, excavation, underground utilities, environmental services, or a related industry.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate field crews and office staff.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Position Overview
Environmental Works LLC is seeking a high-level Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team.
We are especially interested in plumbers who already hold a Washington Journeyman Plumbing License or are licensed in both Oregon and Washington. If you are dual licensed, experienced, customer-focused, and ready to be part of a company investing heavily in growth, leadership, and long-term team retention, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life at Eworks can include:
- Residential and commercial service plumbing
- Main water line repairs and replacements
- Sewer and secondary line work
- Water heater installation and replacement
- Fixture replacements and plumbing upgrades
- Drain and camera inspections
- Garbage disposal installation
- Remodels and ADUs
- Ejection pump systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- New installations and specialty plumbing projects
- No two days look the same here
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Journeyman Plumbing License
- Washington Plumbing License strongly preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and team mentality
- Ability to work independently and problem solve in the field
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus
- Commercial plumbing experience is a plus

Position Overview
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the environmental field while working in a highly labor-intensive environment.
Environmental Field Technicians spend significant time working in confined spaces, around petroleum vapors, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
A day in the life can range from using electromagnetic locators or ground penetrating radar to locate underground tanks, to soil, water, and air vapor sampling, excavation, crawlspace work, and precision hand digging.
This is not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination. The right fit will have a passion for the environment and enjoy the construction aspect of this vital occupation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform soil and groundwater sampling.
- Conduct soil gas sampling.
- Assist with hazardous waste cleanup.
- Work with soil vapor extraction systems.
- Perform labor-intensive environmental construction work.
- Assist with excavation, crawlspace work, and precision hand digging.
- Operate field equipment and maintain OSHA safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Environmental Quality regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related discipline is REQUIRED.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and OSHA safety protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in various environmental conditions.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
